Now farmers will have to make online payment to the firms on the purchase of agricultural machinery. This step has been taken after the fracas in many districts in the name of purchase of agricultural machinery. The grant amount will be paid to the farmer only after submitting the online payment receipt in the agriculture department.
On behalf of the government, through the Department of Agriculture, farmers are provided with grant money for the purchase of agricultural machinery under several schemes. For this, farmers have to apply online for taking agricultural machinery grant on first come first serve basis against the target.
Regarding the application, the farmers are selected by the department after verifying the documents related to the land. After this, instructions are given to the farmers to buy the equipment. After purchasing the instruments by the farmers, after verification of the instruments by the department, the grant amount is given to the farmer’s account through DBT.
This step of the government will benefit the farmers. Now only needy people will participate in the scheme. Only the farmers who need it will apply for the machine. – Nand Kishore Rana, Bhagwantpur
